It all starts with a pencil—loose lines on paper, a jumping-off point into the world of digital colour. From there, things start to transform. Colour isn’t just pigment but emotion, shaping mood rather than mimicking reality. My work leans into atmosphere, exploring contrasts between nature and technology, the organic and the mechanical, the familiar and the surreal.
You’ll find a mix of influences in my art—from Japanese Ukiyo-e and manga to my rekindled love for old-school rubber hose animation. Life drawing has deepened my understanding of anatomy, and I occasionally nod to the old masters like Raphael and Michelangelo.
Somewhere along the way, my work found its way into the music world, earning two nominations at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards for Halogenix’s Lost Friends and Dragonforce—the latter actually winning, which was a nice reminder that art connects people.
I’m always up for a new creative challenge—if you’d like to collaborate or just chat about art, feel free to reach out!
